The Few... The Proud... The...

Wait, hold everything... that's the Marines, and as I clearly say several times in the movie, my new film, "Rocket's Red Glare is all about the AIRFORCE! HUAH! However, there were more than a few proud people in attendance when Vandenberg Airforce Base hosted the recent premiere screening of "RRG."

On August 11th, the stars were out and in attendance. So were the stripes, the bars, the oak leaves and the birds. That's military talk for some military ranks from enlisted men to generals. The military men and women who starred in the film, and who helped make the film a success, were at the screening.

The traditional red carpet entrance was replaced by a walkway lined with 50 American flags leading to the ballroom where the screen read... Rocket's Red Glare screening begins at 13:00. That's military time for 1 PM. It was so cool. The greatest honor came when I was presented with the traditional silk pilots scarf and made an honorary member of the 30th Space Wing.

I am proud to be an honorary member of the Vandenberg team!

Imagine That...

You unlock the genius inside you. Now that we're all back in school, it's time to get out the pencils and paper and focus on the books. It's my senior year and I'm jazzed. You know, rule the school and all that. But seriously, let's talk.

Some people have the crazy idea that in senior year you can just kick back, take a few required courses to get those last credits you need and add in some fluff stuff to kill time. Not true, and not me. With my busy schedule, I had to get creative this year to make sure I meet my requirements but enrolled in classes that are easy to administer from wherever I happen to be. I couldn't do it without the help of my counselor and teachers who have always been 100% supportive.

The great thing about being a senior is that if you've met all the requirements to graduate, you can actually take some classes that really interest you. I enrolled in a Construction Tech class at Vo-Tech. It's great! I'm learning about specs for commercial and residential building, how to read plans, using construction math, the use of and respect for power tools, and doing some real hands on building and demolition stuff. I figure if this whole acting thing ever stops paying off, I can always make a living as a carpenter. Hey, it worked for Harrison Ford! Seriously, it could really help me learn about real estate investing and remodeling.

I'm also enrolled in a Multimedia Communications course learning about the endless jobs available in the use of computers. There are so many ways to use computers and the Internet. You can use them for communications or to create and manage a successful business.

So you see, you can make school work for you. Don't ever think that any school year is unimportant. Every year makes a difference in the big picture. You get out of it what you put in it. Choose your classes carefully and be involved in the decision process. There are a lot of choices you can make. Work with you counselor and teachers to unlock the genius inside you. Imagine that!

Bad Boys of Summer ... "The Crew"

Who, or what, is "The Crew"? The answer to that question is this. We are a bunch of wild and crazy guys who just hang out, have fun and find adventure wherever we are. These are my friends. We became "The Crew" last summer. We gave ourselves the name because all of us were part of the pit crew for our friend Cody Brewer who races sprint cars and we all did work for each other at the dirtbike races. Last year, our extreme trip was a road trip to the Little Sahara Dunes, a state park in Oklahoma. We all loaded up our dirtbikes and four wheelers and hit the dunes for some wild and crazy stunts. It was awesome.

This year our travels took us to Lake Eufaula where we found this awesome bridge. We just had to jump from it. Now, we're not totally crazy. We checked out the water and scoped the whole thing out first. The two guys standing at the far left are actually two rangers who drove by and told us we really shouldn't be doing what we were doing. But, we talked them into letting us jump one more time to get this picture. They agreed because they had never seen anyone crazy enough to actually do it before. It was a rush.

Remember... "don't try this at home." it can be dangerous if you aren't smart about it. If you're gonna be extreme you've got to stay in control too. Know your limits and always check things out first. Don't go off half crazy or do anything stupid. It's ok to live life on the edge, but you've got to know when to step back.

Been Looking for "Just Looking"?

Well, now you can start looking for it at a theater near you. "Just Looking" is set to premier in Los Angeles and New York on October 13th. From there it will be distributed to 40 major cities by mid-November. Hey, it's taken two years but I'm glad you will finally have a chance to catch this film

Step back with me to the 50's and share "Lenny's" sexual fantasies as he explores the usual adolescent questions of love and lust. It's a sex comedy for the whole family that will leave you laughing and touch your heart. Through the course of the summer, Lenny learns some valuable life lessons from some pretty colorful characters. You'll meet the members of "The Sex Club," the boisterous Uncle Phil, the fat butcher, and the lovely Hedy Collier, the object of Lenny's affection and mine too.

The clothes, the cars, the fun. What a great group of characters.

Where in the World am I?

These days, I can be found in Salt Lake City working on a new film for the Disney Channel called "The Luck Of The Irish." You will see me like you have never seen me before. Let's just say some strange things are happening to my character Kyle. It's got something to do with little green men, red hair and loosing your luck.

However, I consider myself pretty lucky to be working on this film. I get to try out a little Irish dialect, learn to step dance and wear some awesome costumes. I spend most of my time shooting hoops and playing old Irish sports like hurling, the chariot wheel toss and other ancient games from the Irish Tailteann Games.

Stay tuned to my website for more updates and behind the scenes photos of my time on the set. I'll let you know when to tune in to The Disney Channel to catch a wee bit of "The Luck of the Irish."
