WHO IS
THAT “BEATLE” LOOK ALIKE?
| Working in Vancouver on “Taken” was a real time warp. It was great to get caught up in all of the radical sci–fi issues and government cover up’s of the 70’s.
By the time I arrived in Vancouver to start shooting, the story had changed some since the original script. My character is now Sam Crawford and I was actually more involved in uncovering some of the plots and eerie secrets of a small town , full of a few less than human characters. That meant I spent more time chasing or being chased by aliens and local bad guys.
Vancouver isn’t exactly Australia. I spent most of the time freezing my butt off in the woods, caves, and fox holes, and running around in about six inches of mud and snow. But hey, it was an amazing role and well worth it, bad weather and all. It’s always great to reinvent myself in some of the great characters I’ve had the chance to play. I wonder who I’ll become next?
Word is..."Taken" will begin to air in December on the Sci–Fi Channel. Stay tuned for more details on exactly when to catch this sci–fi thriller. |

| Getting into character for “Taken” took me on a flashback to the 70’s. The hair and the clothes were “groovy”. Did I just say that? |

THE WINNER IS...MEGAN ALLSWEDE
Thanks to everyone who ordered “Rock Steady” T–Shirts during the special holiday contest offer. The lucky contest winner was Miss Megan Allswede from Bloomington, Indiana. Not only did she do her part to share the message and help support the programs that “Rock Steady” wear benefits, but she is now the proud owner of an original crew vest from my new Disney film, “The Ring of Endless Light”. Congrats Megan, and thanks for your support. “Rock Steady” and live life with heart.
