Pit Stops For Fun
When I’m in LA, I’m all about the work. But once the job is done it’s a great place to play. There are always award parties to drop in on, movie premieres to attend and old friends to catch up with.
I always make a pit stop at Venice Beach. It’s a great place to hang for the day. I like to shoot hoops on the courts, eat lunch and pick up a game of pool at my favorite café. I shop and take in all the sights and sounds that can only be found on the Venice boardwalk.
As soon as I hit town you’ll find me at City Walk sitting down to dinner at Tony Roma’s or taking in a movie. You can also bet that I’ll stop at the Sports Center at Jerry’s Deli to bowl a few rounds or at Whitsett Golf to hit a bucket of golf balls. I also like to hit the Saddle Ranch on Sunset and ride the mechanical bull. I’ve taken it to a 10, past that and my manager and agents start to get a little nervous!
Since I don’t live in town, I don’t get a chance to catch up with other young stars in the biz much. That’s why it’s great to take in a premiere, stop in on an afternoon party for the Young Artists Awards or shoot some hoops with the Hollywood Knights. It gives me a chance to see people I’ve worked with, make new friends and catch up with old ones. All work and no play...no way! I’m all about having good times. |
