APRIL -

I celebrated my 20th birthday, my 6th on a film set, on April 10th.  My manager, Lee, and my agent’s assistant, Ashley, flew in to help me celebrate.  My family, mom, dad and sis joined them. The party really got started with the best surprise of all.  My mom and dad flew in two of my best friends from high school, Cody and Chance, and my girlfriend Micol.  I have never been so excited in my life. It was the best birthday ever.  They really got to me with that surprise.  I don’t think I’ve ever felt so happy to see everyone and just be together with my family and the friends. We all went to the Tanque Verde Ranch for the weekend.  It was an amazing place.  There was trail riding, hiking, tennis, swimming, huge country breakfasts and an old fashioned Bar-B-Q with some down home entertainment. I wrapped up “Spin” just in time to arrive home for Easter.

MAY -

Once I got home, it was time to give back a bit.  There was plenty of activity and some great charity events to be a part of.

Luck be a Baby -

On May 1st, I caught up with my friends for Infant Crisis Services for a benefit auction.  Jordan Bookman, and other members of the Teen Associate Board, hosted the event and did a great job.  Their efforts raised over $20,000 for ICS.  See what a group of committed teens and some great volunteers can accomplish!

Miracle Car Show -

On My 3rd, I was invited to be a celebrity judge at TFCU's 3rd Annual Miracle Car Show to benefit Children's Miracle Network.  The car show earned over $6,000 for CMN.  There were over 140 hotrods lined up in the parking lot, 50's tunes and a great crowd.  Keeley Cornelson, CMN's Champion Child for Oklahoma, was on hand to present her top choice too.  We had a great day together checking out the cars.  We each presented trophies for our favorite car.  My choice was a 1971 Oldsmobile 442 convertible.

My buddy Cody Brewer entered his race car in the event as a Special Interest Car.  Check out the Rock Steady sponsor logo!  I'm proud to be one of the sponsors helping Cody achieve his dreams.  He's doing great on the racing circuit.  Let's just say the boys at the North Texas Speedway know what the back of his car looks like.  He took first place his second time out.  Next stop, Ohio to run with the big boys.  Good luck Cody.

Mom, Dad and my sister Monika spend a day on set and we kick off a great birthday weekend.

Hitting the trails with my cowgirl Micol.

An old fashioned Bar-B-Q at the ranch. L to R - Cody, Micol, Me, Monika and Chance.
