VERITAS COMES ON STRONG FOR ABC

The premiere showing of Veritas pulled in some great numbers for ABC. It increased viewership for Monday at 8/7 central by 57% and had the best numbers in nine months for its time slot. It scored a 4th position spot out of six of the shows included in the Neilson’s ratings. Over nine million people tuned in for the pilot episode putting Veritas in position #55 out of the top 100 shows . During the second week numbers decreased a bit as Veritas lost about 14% of its viewers and dipped into 5th position. But, there’s no need to get discouraged. There are still eleven more shows for you and your friends to join in on the Veritas weekly quest! What can you do? Stay tuned of course. Remember, these numbers are only based on

the Neilson’s numbers, which are determined by a group of folks who choose what stays and goes on TV based on what they choose to view. I’m not convinced this is a real indicator of who’s really watching Veritas. So, stay tuned and tell a friend, to tell a friend, to tell a friend...you get the idea. A lot of you have been visiting the chat rooms, sending me endless cards and letters and visiting with webmaster “Bob”. It seems like there are a lot of unanswered questions out there. Hopefully I can answer some of them for you now.	Q...What is the meaning behind the necklace that Nikko wears on Veritas? Bridget, Southern Belle, TN A...This is actually my own personal necklace. I got it while I was in Australia filming Ring of Endless Light, from an arts and craft s show. It’s the	symbol for dolphin in Aborigine. I asked the producers of Veritas if I could wear it as part of Nikko’s character, and they agreed that it had that old world archeology mystique about it. They actually created a mystical story around it in an upcoming episode of Veritas.
