Q...Who is your celebrity crush? Susan, Alexandria, VA

A...That would have to be the divine beauty, Charlize Theron.

Q...What is the best and worst thing about being an actor? Anne, Sugarland, TX

A...The best is the travel, the exciting things you get to see and do, but mostly the great people you have the chance to work with. The worst is the loneliness. It’s especially lonely and cold in Canada these days.

Q...Do you prefer to do a TV series or make movies, and is it comedy, horror or drama for you? Jean, Los Angeles, CA

Q

&

A

A...I prefer making movies. There is too much politics in television. With movies you just shoot it , it comes out and everyone gets a chance to see it. Television is too unpredictable. There are too many variables that are out of your control that determine the success or failure of your series. As far as what type, I prefer drama. In dramatic roles there is more depth. As an actor you get to show so many levels of emotion and character in your work. It’s a bigger challenge to take on the dramatic roles. The best roles are what I call “dramadies”. Something that has a little drama mixed with comedy. I’m basically a wild and fun kind
Q

A

of guy ,so a role that lets a little bit of that side of me come through is always fun. The character of Nikko is really perfect for me because he’s deep and intelligent, but he’s go this cocky cut up side. too.

Q… What is your favorite role and will acting be your adult career? Paula, Los Angeles, CA

A… My new role as Nikko is definitely my favorite. I plan to stay in front of the camera for as long as God’s grace lets me. If the opportunities are there, I will keep coming at you from the TV and big screen. Being able to entertain you is what I love best.

MORE Q & A
Q… Do you have any good advice for someone who wants to be an actor?

A...Believe in your dream and follow your passion. Get yourself a good personal manager and a great agent who believe in your talent. When the time comes, make sure you can deliver what it takes. Keep your head on straight and always “Rock

Steady”. It worked for me.

Q...Is it nice getting more adult roles now?

A...Oh yeah. The material is so much better and I am really liking some of the up close and personal scenes. I especially get a kick out of the stunts I get to do in Veritas.

Q… Would you rather star in a hit movie or a hit TV series. Sue, Chicago, IL

A... Both. If the TV series was a huge hit and could have a 5 year or more run, that would be great. There is always time to do one hit movie a summer, so I’d have the best of both worlds and get to stay in one place for awhile.

AND THE LUCKY WINNER WAS…”SOUTHERN BELLE”, BRIDGET

You may remember a recent internet auction held to raise money for Actors for Kids. The winner of that auction with the high bid was none other than my favorite chat room fan, “Southern Belle”/ Bridget. Way to go Bridget you did a great thing . I called Bridget on Christmas Eve to thank her for contributing to such a great cause and for being one of my biggest fans.

I’ve had the chance to visit the website and read up on some of the chatter. It’s obvious to me that if you want to know anything about me, or any work I’ve ever done, Bridget is the one to ask. She is a storehouse of knowledge and seems to be the guiding voice of wisdom and knowledge in the chat room. She’s also responsible for setting up a lot of links to other sites for information and pics. It was my pleasure to spend some time on the phone with such a fine southern lady. We had fun getting to know each other, and I think I managed to answer her many questions. Keep up the efforts Bridget and thanks for the love.

Bridget’s quote from the “Community” section of my website goes like this... “Even if Ryan was only changing kitty litter in a movie—I’d still pay just to look at him!” Well Bridget, here’s a little inside scoop. If I did appear with an animal in a movie it would have to be me scooping dog poop, cuz I’m highly allergic to cats! Also, a little known fact is that I have an intense fear of birds. When I was about three, I was swooped down on by a really pissed off and aggressive blue jay with a nest of babies. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten over the emotional scar from that yet. Yep, birds and cats...I don’t go near them.
