Headed North of the Border
My work has taken me back to Canada. This time, I will be in Vancouver for a month working on a Hallmark Hall of Fame project entitled "The Colt". It's a time period piece that takes place during the Civil War. I play the role of a young Yankee solider caught up in the throws of war, surrounded by constant battles and the heartache of dealing with the loss of my fellow soldier's, who like me are only young men. There is a glimmer of hope in the form of my horse that proves to be this soldier's best friend and saving grace during the insanity of war. It's Hallmark, so you know it will be heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. Stay tuned for some behind the scene pics and details on when you can tune in.
After that, I'll be heading back to Oregon in June to work on the second installment of "The Ring". It's only a small role, but in a huge blockbuster thriller. I'm really jazzed. Hope I get to meet Naomi Watts. I'll keep you posted.
Spin Update
There is no significant news to report on Spin, except that it has been sold both for foreign and domestic distribution. It has been well received by the foreign market and will have a limited run and distribution here in the US. I will keep you up on where and when Spin will be released. This is a film that I was proud to be involved in. I hope that all of you have a chance to enjoy it soon. Here's another behind the scenes pic to peak your interest.
Love My Valentine
Valentine's Day was made extra special by the fact that my folks and Micol arrived in late that afternoon to visit me in LA. I had to fly out to LA early for some meetings, and they drove my car across country for me to have while I was there. We all spent a really great night out together. It worked out even better, because Micol had never been to Disneyland. I took her for the day and I gave her the full "kid" treatment. We ate all the wrong food, like corn dogs, chocolate dipped strawberries and churros. We rode the Tea Cups and Peter Pans Adventure and I even got her some Minnie ears with her name on them. You're only a kid once and if you miss the chance to do Disney as a kid, then you have to do it while you are still a kid at heart. We can't wait to take our kids there.
