WB Update - Many of you have been asking about the WB deal I had set up for pilot season 2004. I went out to LA and took a series of different meetings, but none of the projects they decided to move forward with for the coming season seemed to be quite right for me. So, unless they develop a mid-season replacement project, and there is always that chance, you won't catch me on a regular basis on the WB. I'd still like to be associated with them, and may have the chance to do some guest lead roles on some of their already established shows. In the meantime, I will continue to pursue both film and TV projects and cover all the bases. In this business when one plan falls through you just have to move on to the next and be ready to move forward when the opportunities are there. I will be in LA in August to do just that. I will be shooting Ring 2 and taking several film and television meetings while I'm in town.

Spin Update - Spin is moving along and has been well received in the foreign market. Right now there are several special US screenings set for October. On October 9th, I will be attending a charity event in support of the Transplant Awareness Institute that will be hosted by director, Jamie Redford at Sundance. That same weekend is when the film is set to release in some of the surrounding cities in Utah. By mid October Spin will open in Salt Lake City and select cities in Phoenix. On October 23rd, there is another charity screening taking place in Long Island to benefit the Interfaith Nutrition Network, which will be held at Hofstra University. Depending on how the screenings and city openings go, will determine if the film gets a wider distribution by the investors. Everything is driven by public interest as to whether or not a film gets taken to other markets. We have a great PR guy out of LA working on getting Spin out there. I am confident that Spin will be in a theater near you soon and I will keep you posted on the success, so stay tuned.

THE COLT

The Colt is in post production and should be ready for a fall release on the Hallmark Channel. I will be heading up north soon to do a little post work to wrap up the film. In the meantime, here is a sneak peek of me all done up and in uniform. The opportunity to play this role was amazing and I can't wait for you to see the film. Watch for more details later.

THAT'S A WRAP

To wrap up for now, I hope all of you are having a great summer. It will be back to work for me and back to school for most of you soon. Micol will be back in college this fall and my work could take me anywhere. For me life is always one big adventure after another, but it's always great to come home. Micol and I set down roots and bought a home in Oklahoma. So, now we can do just that…always have a place to come home too.
