WORD FOR THOUGHT…PREJUDICE…
It means to pre-judge. As we meet people in life we should be careful not to pre-judge them. It is easy to judge someone from the outside, before getting to know the person inside.

RYAN ROCKS OKC'S BRICKTOWN FOR A CAUSE…
Ryan was back home recently to support several local charities. He participated in the "Celebrity Swing Spectacular" hosted by the Preferred Hospice Charitable Foundation. First up was a dinner and auction event on Friday, May 20th. It was a gala evening amongst the stars to benefit Alley's House and Limbs for Life. Ryan's donated item helped raise the contributions by $100. Ryan personally bid on a set of his and her's TAG Heuer watches and was proud to take them home after securing the winning bid. It was a fun night and money well spent for a great cause.

At the celebrity softball game on Saturday, May 21st, at the OKC Redhawk's Bricktown Ballpark, Ryan and a host of other celebs came out swinging for the cause and participated in a friendly softball game.

Ryan was initially signed up to play on the "actors" team, but insisted that he was an "Okie" long before he was a star and that he wanted to be on the Oklahoma team. Ryan's team mates included: OSU football coach Mike Gundy, NFL football players Corey Ivey and R.W. McWhorter and fishing expert Jimmy Houston, to name a few. The "Big Dogs" scored 10 runs to win the game by one point.

Ryan's personal performance record for the team included catching an outfield fly and turning it into a double play at second, as well as a line drive hit that landed him on second, letting him cross home plate to help raise the team score. It was a great day for a ballgame even in the 100 degree heat, which was a major change in climate for Ryan who hasn't seen daylight in weeks due to night shoots and the temps in Canada are still pretty chilly.

After the game the group cleaned up and headed over to the Ford Center for the Arena Yard Dawgz football game where the celebs competed in a field goal kicking contest at halftime. The lucky winner, Christopher Akins (Blue Lagoon), took home a brand new Rolex watch. Just one of the perks of being a celeb with a bit of athletic skill. The Yard Dawgz home team won that night, so it was great for everyone.

After the game Ryan, Micol and the celebs all danced the night away at one of OKC's premiere club spots, The Sky Bar. Sunday brought a round of golf at Gallardia, one of OKC's premiere country clubs. Then it was time to head back to Vancouver to wrap up another month of shooting on Final Destination 3.

HEAVEN HAS A NEW ANGEL…
Ryan's grandmother passed away on Saturday, May 7th. At 88 years of age, she had certainly lived a long and full life. She had a lot of stories to tell with 88 years of history behind her. She was an angel on earth and is now one in Heaven. The first picture was taken last year as she rooted for Ryan and his dad at a celebrity softball game benefiting the Children's Miracle Network. The other picture was taken at the senior day care center she went to. Ryan dropped by to wish her a happy 84th birthday. Roses were her favorite flower.
