Hawaii Five-O

Here is some more information about Ryan's episode on Hawaii Five-O. It will air on February 13th, CBS at 10 p.m. West Coast Time, 9 p.m. Central Time. The episode is called “The Reckoning”. Ryan will play the role of Dennis Mack.

Lots of great news

Hello fans,
I've got great news for you all. Ryan booked a guest role in Hawaii Five O. They are filming in Hawaii from January 16th till 24th. More details about Ryan's episode to be announced soon.

More news, Ryan had the chance to team up with Treat Williams (his dad in Deep End of the Ocean) again when he took on the role of Kyle in the comedy Attack of the 50ft Cheerleader. It’s the story of an aspiring college cheerleader, Cassie Stratfod, played by Jena Sims, who consumes an experimental drug that grants her beauty and enough athletic ability to make the cheer squad. The drug has an unforeseen side effect - Cassie starts to grow and grow and grow. Ryan stars as Kyle, the college student who has worked on the development of the serum alongside Dr. Grey (Treat Williams) that goes horribly wrong.

Christmas holiday update

Hey fans, be sure to tune in on Monday, January 2nd at 7 pm central time, for the opening show of the winter season of Pretty Little Liars. There could be more answers revealed this season about Ryan’s character Ian. Lots of loose ends to wrap up, secrets to reveal and new storylines in store for you!

Dose of reality update

Here is an update on Dose of reality. Ryan just finished post-production looping on this project. Here is the summary. It’s 2AM, closing time: A cocky bar manager with a shady past and a young handsome bartender discover a beautiful woman bloodied and unconscious in the bathroom of a late night lounge. When she awakens, Tony, Matt and the mysterious Rose are plunged into a stirring evening of dangerous role playing in an ever-escalating game of cat and mouse that forces them to face the dark shadows of themselves. As we begin to piece together the elaborate puzzle, nothing is what it seems. However, one thing is for certain: this Rose is full of thorns.

Ryan gave a lecture at the University of Central Oklahoma in which he shared information regarding his experience in the film and television industry and the importance of maintaining his faith and how it has helped to make him successful. The event was called Faith and Fame: An Evening with Ryan Merriman lecture and over 300 young men and women were in attendance. Go to the slideshow to see the pictures. Ryan and Micol

Dear Fans,

Because so many of you care and have been asking on the website, I felt that it was time for me to share with all of you that Micol and I have recently divorced. We had been separated since December of last year and finalized our divorce this past August. But, you will be happy to know that through it all, we have remained very good friends, we still keep in touch and want only the best for each other as we move forward with our lives. Micol will always have a special place in my heart and the heart of my family. After sharing 11 years of our lives together we reached a time in our relationship where we realized that we are better friends apart than we were a couple together. Thank you for your love and support of us both through all of these years. I know you will continue to wish us both only the best. Just like the lyrics to “I Will Always Love You” go, so do Micol and I go forward with how we feel about each other as we move on in our lives.

If I should stay, I would only be in your way
So I'll go, but please know that I will think of you every step of the way.

Xbox gaming and giving for good

Hey fans, the 5th Quarter will be available in Redbox on September 30th!

And here is a reminder. The Gaming and Giving for Good, an upcoming national event that will take place on October 1st. It is an online gaming event which allows the growing community of online gamers to solicit sponsorship for hours of play in an international battle between gamers playing an assortment of new Xbox 360 games.

In addition Xbox will host a series of Game with Fame activities the week of September 26th . At the G3 Miracle Lounge in Los Angeles, Xbox Live members will have the opportunity to play video games on Xbox 360 with celebrities. Ryan, a longtime CMNH Supporter, will be gaming live in the LA gaming lounge on Tuesday, September 27th from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Be sure to tune in! Some more charity work!

Ryan is busy again doing great work for charity. Ryan will be gaming with competitors live online from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27th in LA. This is part of the Gaming and Giving for Good (G3) Xbox LIVE charity event on October 1st to benefit Extra Life, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraiser. Be sure to tune in. Also, there is a fundraiser going on right now to benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Subaru is donating 10 cents a vote , up to $20,000, in this contest, it ends on September 15! Go to the following site and vote for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

New project: Dose of reality

Ryan is currently shooting a new independent film called “Dose of Reality” in Los Angeles. It is a script written and directed by Christopher Glatis, produced by Destiny Pictures.

Dose Of Reality is a dramatic thriller. When they find the beautiful sexy ROSE passed out on the bathroom floor of their bar at closing time, bartender MATT and bar manager TONY are plunged into an evening of dangerous role-playing with an escalating game of cat and mouse when she says one of them raped her…but who really is this girl and why is she in THIS bar? As we piece together this elaborate puzzle; One of the guys is in for a shock of their lives as nothing is as it appears in this steamy thriller where this ROSE — is full of thorns. Co-starring are Fairuza Balk as Rose and Rick Ravenello as Tony.

Best actor award at NCIFF

Congrats to Ryan! He just won the best actor award at the Northern California Independent Film Festival for his role in The 5th Quarter. The movie also won the best soundtrack award.

The 5th quarter will get a limited theatrical release on March 25th. In addition, Rocky Mountain Pictures has picked up The 5th quarter. The official site for the movie has gotten a make-over, it's still under construction but be sure to watch that space for pictures, trailers, clips and more.

Be sure to keep watching Ryan in his role as Ian Thomas on Pretty Little Liars, it is only going to get better!
